Align your stars
Working in Microsoft 365 (M365) differs significantly from using traditional legacy files, folders, and email systems.
Most organizations have the tools but struggle to align behavior to gain the benefits of:
- Cloud-based collaboration
- Real-time coauthoring
- Centralized storage & backups
- Communication (chat, meetings, phone calls, video calls)
- Version control and history
- Work from anywhere
- Security and compliance
- Retiring legacy systems and services: servers, dropbox, zoom, etc.
- Retiring old habits and ways of working/accessing/communicating.
Overcome the problems of:
- We’ve always done it this way.
- We only know what we know.
- Paying for the tools in perpetuity but, lack a plan to get folks using them.
- Training existing people. Training new people.
With Microsoft 365:
are you clear with the goal?
The goal is to get the right people, using the right tools, in the right way to improve outcomes.
The goal is not:
– Learn things you don’t need to learn.
– Adopt tools that you don’t need to adopt.
– Build skills in yourself and your team that won’t be used.
First Call works closely with your team of stars to align Microsoft 365 tools with your actual needs and equips your people with bite sized training to gain the skills needed.

Where are you
Microsoft 365 is a powerful suite of productivity tools that offers a wide range of features and capabilities. However, many people and organizations tend to underutilize its full potential. Here are a few reasons why this happens:
Lack of Awareness
Many users are unaware of the extensive features and functionalities available within Microsoft 365. They may be familiar with the basic applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook but may not explore or fully understand the capabilities of other tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.
Limited Training and Education
Insufficient training and education on Microsoft 365 tools contribute to underutilization. Users often stick to their familiar ways of working without realizing the time-saving features, collaboration options, automation capabilities, and integration possibilities available to them. Without proper training, they may not be aware of the advanced functionalities that can significantly enhance their productivity.
Resistance to Change
Introducing new tools and workflows can sometimes be met with resistance from users who are comfortable with their existing methods. This resistance can prevent individuals from exploring and adopting new features or embracing a more collaborative and integrated approach. Overcoming resistance to change is crucial for maximizing the utilization of Microsoft 365.
Siloed Work Processes
Microsoft 365 is designed to break down silos and facilitate seamless collaboration. However, many organizations and individuals continue to work in isolated silos, limiting their ability to leverage the collaborative features of tools like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Without proper integration and cross-functional collaboration, the true power of Microsoft 365 remains untapped.
Paying full price but using limited features.
Stop paying for all the licensing, tools and features but not receiving the full benefit.

Learning new software and changing how people work requires some handholding. If it didn’t, people would just watch something on YouTube and it would click.
Direction, Steering and Advice
You know your people, organization and how people work today. What you don’t know is how M365 is designed to work, the capabilities (and limits) of the tools. First Call’s Application Specialists close those gaps and continue to work with you over time to keep them closed.
Reporting and Accountability Loop
What doesn’t get measured doesn’t get done. Progress is easily measured, reported on and discussed to ensure people aren’t falling behind or getting stuck.
Organizations that are trusting Microsoft or Large Corporations with their licensing and billing shouldn’t be. First Call works with you to understand your Microsoft 365 needs, resulting in you paying for what you need, not what some Mega-Corp tells you to buy.
Data Backup and Recovery
Many Microsoft Resellers aren’t equipped or willing to help you have a proper backup and disaster recovery solution in place and managed each day. First Call takes ownership of this and produces results to help you mitigate the risk of users deleting data (accidentally or maliciously) as well as third party attacks which are becoming more and more commonplace.
