Do I Need Advanced Security?
Does everyone need advanced security for their network? The answer is no more than the world needs more COVID, but if you do need Advanced Security, it’s kind of like a fire extinguisher at that point, if you need it, you REALLY NEED IT.
Does your business need to comply with various industry standards? PCI, NIST, HIPPA, CIPA, etc. If you are familiar with these acronyms you are likely familiar with the discomfort they can cause. This is made even worse if there are auditors involved. Its these kinds of situations that let our Advanced Security offering really shine.
While the ASO isn’t a magic bullet to solve all of your compliance problems, it does fulfil many of the requirements set forth by these industry standards. Allowing you to confidently check the ‘yes’ box when asked about things like ‘does your organization monitor for HIPPA sensitive data being stored improperly’ and ‘does your organization have strict controls over the creation privileged user accounts’ etc. These are scary sounding questions for a reason, and you don’t want to be answering them with a ‘yes’ if you are unsure.
Another consideration; are you required to have strict controller over which websites and content can be accessed by your users (Schools for example)? Our security offering has a solution there as well. We can also assist with this when users are outside of the main network, such as remote work.
Industry compliance is not going anywhere, and lack of compliance is not an option. The cost of getting audited makes the cost of getting in compliance look dirt cheap. You don’t not want to be on the wrong side of a compliance audit.
